I agree with Jess - MFR’s part in Any Means changed my life and view on how women could shred. I rode the Rome LoFi and then the Arbor Veda as a lifelong fan! Marie I hope you know how much you have influenced a generation of lady shredders, beyond snowboarding too. You’ve been such a great role model for activism and absolutely sending it.

Hey! Love your podcast and I love MFR ❤ I really resonate with her answer for “more humility”. And I’ll tell you a little story about why ❤ I met MFR at the Oakley progression sessions (OPS) at Mont Tremblant at 2015. She was the absolute best and laughed at a little curl of my hair sticking out from between my helmet and goggles. She also laughed at me when she tried to speak French to me and I was like, “no Francais” 😂 Anyways, the whole experience was amazing for me and my growth as a person. I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole life, and at the time of the OPS I told myself I would go in to the situation with humility. In previous experiences I would try to hard, be a show off, or whatever to try and hide how anxious I felt. But this time was different, I went in to it being true to myself, to be completely open to the experience. It worked out really well for me, and the wonderful folks that organized OPS gave me an award at the end of it. The experience will stay with me for the rest of my life as a turning point into living my life in a humble way. Love you all!

I comeback to this episode as it was the last honest documented media of ken blocks life. This episode should be more shared in the general public as i know for a fact alot of his fans dont know about this and it be a good closure for them to hear. Knowing he was very passionate about everything in his life and he died doing something he was passionate about. Everything he enjoyed, his family enjoyed aswell. Rest in piece.
